Arathi Highlands is the best place to farm Goldthorn in WoW Classic — the zone is compact, mostly hills, and almost every ridge holds a node. The Arathi Highlands Goldthorn route
- Start at Refuge Pointe (Alliance) or Hammerfall (Horde) and head west along the northern hills.
- Sweep the high ground around Northfold Manor and the Circle of Inner Binding.
- Drop south-west past Boulder'gor and work the slopes above Stromgarde Keep.
- Follow the cliff line down toward Faldir's Cove, then turn east.
- Cross the ridges above Go'Shek Farm and Boulderfist Hall — this stretch is usually the richest part of the lap.
- Finish at the Circle of Outer Binding and ride back to your start point. One lap runs about 8-12 minutes; herbs respawn fast enough to loop indefinitely.
What Herbalism skill do you need for Goldthorn?
170. That is past the 150 cap of Journeyman Herbalism, so train Expert Herbalism first (available from skill 125, raises the cap to 225). If Goldthorn nodes show on your minimap but you cannot loot them, your skill is the problem, not your luck.
Is Arathi Highlands or Hillsbrad better?
