The Cozy Sleeping Bag chain from Season of Discovery is in WoW: Forever, and on the beta you can pick it up at level 14. Alliance start at the Burned-Out Remains by Alexston Farmstead in Westfall (/way 37 50); Horde start at the Burned-Out Remains in the Barrens, south of Camp Taurajo (/way 46 74). The finished bag rests you for bonus experience on a one-hour cooldown.

How to get it
- Level to 14. Below that the chain will not open for you.
- Fly or ride to your faction's Burned-Out Remains — Westfall for Alliance, the stretch of the Barrens below Camp Taurajo for Horde. Both are burned campsites out in the open world, not instanced.
- Follow the chain from that campsite. It is a short low-level questline, not a dungeon or group quest.
- Once you own the bag, use it when you are about to step away. Every minute you spend resting in it adds 1% bonus experience, and the effect caps at 3%.
- Watch the one-hour cooldown. It is designed for a break, a queue or a logout — not for spamming between pulls.
Is 3% bonus experience actually worth a detour?
Yes, if you are going to take breaks anyway — which everyone leveling to 60 does. The bag turns dead time into a small permanent tailwind, and you keep it for the whole climb, so it pays back over dozens of levels rather than one session.
The 12-slot bag is arguably the bigger prize at level 14. Forever hands out a 6-slot bag from starting-zone quests and the bank was doubled to 48 default slots on the beta, but character bag space still starts at original Classic sizes. A free 12-slotter that early is real.
Is this the same thing as Forever's camping system?
No. Camping is a separate, new system: the Cooking Fire becomes a Basic Campfire, a campsite gives rest, vendors, repairs and profession workspaces, and profession-crafted objects placed at the fire hand out one-hour buffs after you sit for a minute. That is unlocked by the early quest "The Great Outdoors."
The Sleeping Bag is a personal item from a quest chain. Whether its bonus interacts with campfire rest or the Legacy "Well Rested" perk has not been published, so treat them as two separate tools until Blizzard says otherwise.
Will the chain still be there when Forever launches?
Everything above is beta behaviour, and the beta runs September 17 – October 21, 2026 with the cap starting at 20 and rising to 30 later. Blizzard has not published a launch-day list for this chain, and beta content can change before the November 4, 2026 release at 3 p.m. Pacific. Start point and level requirement are the details most likely to shift.
Can I do it right now if I do not have beta access?
Only with the Skyborne Epic Pack or the Warcraft Forever Collection, which grant instant access; otherwise you need an opt-in invite wave. The Skyborne Heroic Pack (€29.99) does not include beta. There is also a "Server Slam" planned where servers open to everyone for a few hours, but the date has not been announced.
