Which class is the best tank in WoW: Forever?
Warrior is the safest tank pick because it is the only one of the three with an interrupt. Rage from damage taken now ignores Armor and absorbs, Thunder Clap works in Defensive Stance, and the Vanguard talent allows Charge in that stance.
Paladin is a close second and the most interesting change. Seal of Fury favours fast weapons, adds a small absorb shield, and its Judgement taunts from 10 yards. Righteous Fury now arrives at level 10. Druid sits third on interrupts alone, not on threat: Bear Form's threat bonus rose to 115% in the launch notes, and potions work without leaving form.
Skyborne Start: Zephras Isle 1–12The new Skyborne starting experience completed on your character.from 15 EURGet it doneWhich class is the best healer in WoW: Forever?
Priest leads because its talents cover the widest range of healing situations. Binding Heal, Penance, Prayer of Mending and Divine Aegis give it fast heals, burst, jumping heals and absorbs.
Druid follows with Wild Growth, Bloom, and heal-over-time spells that can now crit. Paladin gained more group healing, though its Holy tree was heavily reworked just before launch. Shaman ranks last on healing alone, not on group value. Raid-wide totems make one welcome in any raid, and Riptide strengthens Chain Heal, but Blizzard's Kris Zierhut said in the Crix interview that Shaman talents may be revisited early next year.
Which class does the most damage in WoW: Forever?
Rogue is the top pick for single-target damage because Blizzard designed it that way. Its Rogue and Warlock deep dive promises "the highest potential single-target melee damage in the game", which is a design goal rather than a measured result.
Warrior takes second in melee, with Bloodthirst raised to 45% of Attack Power in the beta notes. Feral got large launch buffs to Shred, Claw and Ravage. Enhancement sits last for now because its stat priorities are being changed.
Mage leads ranged on group utility and area damage. The world-first level 60 group, per Wowhead, had a Paladin pull large packs while Mages cleared them with Arcane Explosion. Warlock and Hunter follow closely. Aimed Shot gained about 110% bonus damage in the launch notes, and Trueshot Aura is raid-wide.
Does the ranking change for PvP?
Yes, and Warlock is the only class with real tournament evidence behind it. In the community-run Forever Open on the beta, Warlock posted a 79% win rate, while Mage (25%) and Warrior (27%) were lowest, per Wowhead.
That event was played at level 30 on beta numbers, so it says little about level 60 battlegrounds. Use it as a hint for dueling, not as launch balance.
Which WoW: Forever class should you pick?
Pick by role first, then race. Tanks and healers usually find dungeon groups faster, so Warrior, Paladin, Priest or Druid suit anyone who wants steady group content.
Solo-focused players can look at Warlock and Hunter, though Blizzard plans durability fixes for Hunter pets and Voidwalkers on November 10. Skyborne needs the Skyborne Heroic Pack or higher. Friends must also agree on ruleset and faction first, because grouping works only within both.

Frequently asked questions
How many classes are in WoW: Forever?
WoW: Forever has nine classes: Warrior, Paladin, Hunter, Rogue, Priest, Shaman, Mage, Warlock and Druid. It uses the Classic roster, and Blizzard announced no new class and no Death Knights. Developers did say that nothing is off the table for the future, including new classes, but nothing further has been confirmed.
What is the best class in WoW: Forever?
No single class is best, and no official tier list exists. Warrior, Priest, Rogue and Mage are strong early picks for tank, healer, melee and ranged. Raids open on December 9, and Blizzard expects a large tuning pass after it has data from players past level 30, so any ranking today is provisional.
Which classes can tank in WoW: Forever?
Three classes can tank: Warrior, Paladin and Druid. Paladins use the Protection tanking Seal of Fury, and Druids tank in Bear Form with a raised threat bonus. Shaman tanking is a popular discussion on the team, but Blizzard says it is not officially pursuing it right now.
What new race and class combos are in WoW: Forever?
Blizzard lists six new combos: Gnome Priest, Human Hunter, Dwarf Shaman, Orc Mage, Troll Warlock and Undead Paladin. The new Skyborne race adds Warrior, Hunter, Rogue and Druid for both factions, plus Shaman for Horde and Mage for Alliance. Skyborne requires the Skyborne Heroic Pack or higher.
When do you get dual spec in WoW: Forever?
Dual specialization unlocks at level 40. A developer floated a lower level on the official podcast, but no change has been announced. Talent changes need a class trainer in a major city, and Blizzard says respec prices climb quickly before resetting once per week.
