Holy Paladin in WoW: Forever gets a reworked Holy tree with Holy Shock on a 10-second cooldown, plus new talents Infusion of Light, Light's Vigil, Reverence (Mana from Spirit while casting), Voice of Truth (brief immunity to Silence and Interrupts) and Consecrated Ground. Blizzard says the spec gains more group healing, Blessing of Kings goes baseline, and a level-6 Holy Strike gives every Paladin an instant weapon attack.

Paladin is the only class Blizzard has detailed so far (BlizzCon, September 12–13, 2026). Talent tuning and exact numbers for Infusion of Light and Light's Vigil were not shown, so treat anything more specific as a guess until the beta (September 17 – October 21) puts the tree in players' hands.

Why this matters for a Forever healer

In original Classic a Holy Paladin was a Flash of Light bot with a five-second rule to babysit. Three of the new talents attack exactly that: Reverence keeps Spirit regen ticking while you cast, Voice of Truth stops a kick from erasing a big heal, and Holy Shock at 10 seconds turns it from a panic button into a real rotation piece. Blizzard's own summary says Paladins get "more group healing," which Classic Holy never had — Consecrated Ground and the still-unexplained Light's Vigil are the likely carriers of that.

Two things did not change: Paladins still have no interrupt and no slow. Voice of Truth protects you from other people's interrupts; it does not give you one.

How do the new stats change Holy Paladin gearing?

Forever merges spell, melee and ranged hit into one stat, and the three crit chances into one. Bonus healing now carries one third of its value as bonus damage, so a healing set no longer makes your Holy Strike and Judgment hit for nothing. Caster weapons grant both spell damage and healing. Practical effect: a Holy Paladin can pick up +healing gear without feeling useless while soloing or leveling, and crit from any source feeds Holy Shock.

Can I play an Undead Holy Paladin in WoW: Forever?

Yes. Undead Paladin is one of six new race/class combos alongside Dwarf Shaman, Gnome Priest, Human Hunter, Orc Mage and Troll Warlock. Forsaken racials were reworked too: Will of the Forsaken removes Charm, Fear and Sleep without granting immunity, Cannibalize restores Mana as well as health, and a new passive, Touch of the Grave, lets attacks drain life. Cannibalize returning Mana is a small but real perk for a healer between pulls.

Is Holy still the only viable Paladin spec?

Not on paper. Blizzard shipped a full Retribution suite (Vindication, Sacred Arbiter, Champion of the Light, Instrument of the Law, Twist of Light) and a genuine tanking Seal for Protection — Seal of Fury, where Judgment taunts and fast weapons build small absorbs. Holy stays the healing spec, but the class now has three lanes, and the new 16-point milestone means a Holy build can reach deeper into a second tree than the old 11/21/31 layout allowed.

When can I actually test these changes?

Beta runs September 17 – October 21, 2026, capped at level 30, with access through the Skyborne Epic Pack or the Warcraft Forever Collection. Forever launches November 4, 2026 at 3 p.m. Pacific and is included with an active subscription. The first raids — Barrow Deeps (10-player), Hyjal Summit (20-player) and Onyxia's Lair (40-player) — unlock on December 9, which is when Holy Paladin numbers will really get tested.

If you would rather learn the reworked Holy tree with someone who has already run it, PewPewShop offers Healer Coaching from EUR 46 with vetted human players, and Forever raid progression help once the raids open in December.
