There is no published pre-raid BiS list for WoW: Forever yet. Blizzard has not released loot tables or boss lists for the nine new dungeons, and every class and spec was revamped, so the old Classic BiS spreadsheets do not carry over. What is confirmed is where pre-raid gear will come from: the three 40–60 dungeons, Blackmaw Hold, the expanded Dire Maul, Maraudon and Razorfen Downs content, and reputation rewards — all before raids unlock on December 9, 2026.

Why can't I just use a Classic pre-raid BiS list?

Because the classes are not the same. Blizzard stated every class and specialization is revamped: Paladins get a tanking seal and a full Retribution suite, talent trees drop the +1–2% filler nodes, Forsaken Paladins and Dwarf Shamans exist, and Skyborne Druids have their own forms. A 2019-era Warrior list built around specific stat weights may point at the wrong stats entirely once the new talents are live.

The item side is just as different. Nine new dungeons and expanded Dire Maul-tier content mean a chunk of the pre-raid pool will be items that have never existed. Until Blizzard or the beta datamine shows real loot tables, any "Forever BiS" article you find is a guess wearing a confident headline.

When will a real WoW: Forever pre-raid BiS list appear?

The first reliable information comes out of the beta, which runs September 17 – October 21, 2026. Beta play is capped at level 30, so it will reveal Lordaeron, Hall of Thanes, Dalaran and the early Riverglades loot — not the 40–60 dungeons. Expect solid lists for the endgame dungeons only after November 4, once people are actually clearing Alcaz Island, The Shaper's Terrace and Krol'Dok Stronghold on live servers.

Practical takeaway: plan your first weeks around dungeon access and reputation, not around specific item names. Whatever the final lists say, the route to those items runs through the same instances.

What should a fresh 60 do first in Classic+ if the list isn't out?

  1. Finish the Riverglades reputations on the way through 30–45 — new reputations usually gate vendor gear, and this zone has 150+ quests to bank.
  2. Run the three 40–60 dungeons on repeat. These are the highest-level instances at launch and the most likely home of pre-raid-quality drops.
  3. Clear Blackmaw Hold and the expanded Dire Maul, Maraudon and Razorfen Downs content for the Shen'dralar-linked rewards.
  4. Set up a Camping site with your group — the new system gives tradeskill buffs, and professions were updated, so crafted pieces may fill slots the dungeons do not.
  5. Get riding sorted early. There is no flying and no level scaling, so travel time is real time you are not spending in instances.

Is pre-raid gearing worth doing before December 9?

Yes, if you want to raid in the first lockout. Barrow Deeps is 10-player and Hyjal Summit is 20-player; both open the same day as Onyxia's Lair, and guilds will fill those spots with the characters that are already dungeon-geared. Showing up on December 9 in quest greens means watching the first week from the sidelines.

If you only care about levelling and the world, skip the grind. The level cap is 60 for good and new content arrives in patches, so gear from launch dungeons will matter for a long time — there is no rush if raiding is not your goal.

If you would rather not learn nine new dungeons blind, PewPewShop offers play-together Forever dungeon runs with vetted human players from EUR 12 for any dungeon and from EUR 22 for the 40–60 instances, plus a full Forever Pre-Raid Gearing package from EUR 59, taken as pre-orders until November 4 and carried out from launch day onward.
