WoW: Forever launches November 4, 2026, and its first raids — Barrow Deeps, Hyjal Summit and Onyxia's Lair — unlock together on December 9, 2026 per Blizzard's roadmap. Spring 2027 adds two raids, two dungeons and a new legendary questline; Summer 2027 brings a revamped iconic raid, a new raid and two more dungeons. The level cap stays at 60 for good, and content arrives as patches, never expansions.

What is in the launch patch on November 4?

Three zones: Zephras Isle (the floating Skyborne start, levels 1–12), the Riverglades (a new 30–45 leveling zone in the Eastern Kingdoms with 150+ quests, new reputations and a neutral goblin port) and Mount Hyjal, the new endgame zone that hosts the Hyjal Summit raid and one of Barrow Deeps' three entrances. Dire Maul, Maraudon and Razorfen Downs get expanded Shen'dralar content.

Nine new dungeons ship at launch: Dalaran (a city-dungeon, 20–35), Lordaeron (15–20), Hall of Thanes (13–18), Excavation Site in the Wetlands, The Drowned City off Stranglethorn Vale, Alcaz Island Prison, The Shaper's Terrace, Krol'Dok Stronghold (both 40–60) and Blackmaw Hold. Boss lists and loot tables have not been published yet.

Are Molten Core and Blackwing Lair on the WoW: Forever roadmap?

Unknown. Blizzard has only confirmed Onyxia's Lair alongside the two brand-new raids for December 9. Whether Molten Core, Blackwing Lair or the other original raids are available at launch has not been stated. The Summer 2027 entry mentions a "revamped iconic raid" but does not name it — anyone telling you which one is guessing.

Why does the Classic+ roadmap use patches instead of expansions?

Forever is designed as an "endless level 60" game. Instead of raising the cap and invalidating old gear every two years, the Classic team plans to keep adding zones, dungeons, raids, legendary chains and PvP seasons on top of the same 60-cap world. That is why the roadmap is written in seasons — Spring 2027, Summer 2027 — rather than in expansion names. It also means no flying mounts and no level scaling, so the old-world leveling route stays intact.

What changes for classes and systems at launch?

Every class and specialization has been reworked, with talents moving away from +1–2% filler. Paladins get a tanking seal, more group healing and a full Retribution toolkit. Forsaken can roll Paladin and Dwarves can roll Shaman. New systems include Camping (player-built campsites with tradeskill buffs), Legacy (account-wide perks for leveling alts), opt-in transmog, toggleable HD/SD graphics, gamepad support and an updated Honor system. The Darkspear Islands, a 15v15 battleground, joins the original battlegrounds. Hardcore is confirmed but its rules are not out yet.

If you would rather be raid-ready by December 9 than spend every evening grinding, PewPewShop is taking pre-orders for Forever until launch: Power Leveling 1–60 from EUR 137.2 (our boosters quote 2–3 weeks at launch), the Dalaran dungeon run from EUR 16, and Barrow Deeps 10-player clears from EUR 35 once raids open — all done by vetted human players, coaching or play-together.
