Battleground Blitz pays out on every match: Honor and Conquest for wins and losses, rating-gated PvP gear upgrades, and seasonal titles at 1000, 1400, 1600, 1800 and 2100 rating. It feeds the same weekly Conquest cap and PvP Great Vault slots as arena and rated battlegrounds, and the Elite transmog set unlocks at 1800 rating.
What you actually earn
- Every match: Honor plus Conquest. Wins pay more than losses, but a loss is never zero, so a Blitz session always moves your gear forward.
- Conquest gear: Conquest buys the seasonal PvP set. Your current rating decides how far each piece can be upgraded, and PvP gear jumps in item level once you step inside a battleground or arena.
- Great Vault: Honor earned during the week fills your PvP vault slots. The item level of what shows up on reset day is set by the highest rating you actually hit that week, so one good push pays off on Wednesday.
- Titles: awarded for the highest rating you reach at any point in the season, and they stick even if you drop afterwards.
- Elite transmog: the seasonal Elite appearance unlocks at 1800 rating and stops being buyable when the season ends.

How much Conquest does Battleground Blitz give?
Blitz is one of the fastest Conquest faucets in the game because the matches are short and objectives are accelerated, so you finish far more games per hour than in 10v10. Blizzard has retuned the per-match payout between seasons, so check the reward panel on the scoreboard rather than trusting an old guide.
The important part is the cap: Blitz Conquest counts against the same weekly cap as arena and rated battlegrounds. Filling the cap in Blitz is usually the least painful route if you queue solo.
Does Blitz rating share with rated battlegrounds?
No. Battleground Blitz keeps its own rating, separate from 10v10 rated battlegrounds and from arena. Titles, achievements and Elite-set access can be earned in whichever bracket you climb highest in, so plenty of players push Blitz purely because it needs no premade roster.
Is 1800 realistic solo?
For most players, yes, given enough games. Blitz matchmaking pairs you with random teammates, so single matches swing hard, but rating converges over a few hundred games. The two things that move the needle are picking a spec with a clear job in objective play and learning each map's win condition instead of chasing kills.
Do Blitz rewards carry over between seasons?
Titles, achievements and mounts you already earned are permanent. Rating resets, Conquest gear becomes obsolete, and the Elite appearance for that specific season is gone once the season closes. That is why the last few weeks of a season are always the busiest queue times.
