Every Dragonflight Mythic+ season had its own Keystone Master mount, earned by reaching 2,000 M+ rating before that season ended. Season 1 awarded the Wondrous Wavewhisker, Season 2 the Verdant Skitterfly, Season 3 the Infinite Armoredon. All of them are unobtainable today — Keystone Master mounts are locked to their season and never come back afterwards.

The rules that governed all of them, and still govern the current season:

  • 2,000 Mythic+ rating in that specific season unlocks Keystone Master and its mount.
  • Rating is seasonal, not account-wide history — it resets to zero when a new season starts.
  • The mount lands in your mailbox shortly after you cross 2,000, not at season end.
  • Score comes from timed runs across the full dungeon pool, both Tyrannical and Fortified weeks, on your best key level per dungeon.
  • Higher tiers (Keystone Hero, Keystone Legend) award titles and prestige, not the mount.

Can I still get the Dragonflight Keystone Master mounts?

No. Dragonflight ended, and with it every Dragonflight Keystone Master achievement was closed out. Blizzard has never re-released a Keystone Master mount through the Trading Post, a vendor or a store — that permanence is the whole point of the reward.

If you already have one on any character, it stays in your collection forever and is account-wide. If you missed a season, the honest answer is that it's gone; the only mounts you can still chase are the current season's.

What do I need for Keystone Master right now?

The bar hasn't moved: 2,000 M+ rating in the live season. In practice that means timing keys in the +10 range across the whole dungeon rotation, with a couple of higher runs to cover weaker scores. Most players get there over a few weeks of consistent group play.

Check your progress on your in-game Mythic+ tab or on Raider.IO — both show the exact per-dungeon score you still need.

Is Keystone Master worth doing every season?

If you collect mounts, yes — it's the one guaranteed mount you can't buy back later. It's also the cheapest prestige achievement in the game in terms of raw effort: no lockout luck, no drop rate, just timed keys. Beyond the mount you get the seasonal title track and a gear ceiling that carries you into raiding.

Does Keystone Master rating carry over between seasons?

Your score resets each season, but your achievements and mounts stay. Dungeon knowledge, routes and affix habits carry over far better than the number does — which is why the second Keystone Master of your career takes half the time of the first.
