The Keystone Master achievement and its seasonal mount are account-wide, but the 2,000 Mythic+ rating you need to earn them is not. Rating is tracked per character, so one single character has to reach 2,000 on its own — scores from alts never combine. Once any one character crosses that line, the achievement and the mount belong to your whole account.

The short version of how it works

  1. Pick the character you actually want to push on. That one has to reach 2,000 overall rating in the current season by itself.
  2. Rating comes from timed and untimed runs across both weekly affix sides of each dungeon, so a spread of dungeons scores better than repeating one.
  3. The moment that character hits the threshold, the achievement pops and the mount is added to your collection for the whole account.
  4. You do not need to repeat it on alts. Running it again on a second character gives you nothing extra.

Does Mythic+ score from my alts count toward Keystone Master?

No. There is no combined account score for this. A 1,400 main and a 900 alt do not add up to 2,300 — the game looks at one character's overall rating and nothing else. This is the single most common misread of the word "account-wide" here.

The practical takeaway: commit to one character early in the season rather than splitting keys across three. Spread pushing is the usual reason people stall in the high 1,800s in the final weeks.

Can every character use the Keystone Master mount?

Yes. Mounts in modern WoW are collection-wide, so once it lands, any character on the account can summon it — including characters made after the season ended.

The catch is timing, not characters. Keystone Master is a seasonal Feat of Strength: when the season closes, that specific mount stops being obtainable. Miss the window and no amount of rating later brings it back.

Are the Mythic+ dungeon teleports account-wide too?

The teleports are a different reward. They come from the higher Keystone Hero achievements for timing individual dungeons at the required key level, not from Keystone Master itself, and they have historically been unlocked on the character that earned them. Blizzard has been steadily moving rewards toward Warband-wide sharing, so check your own spellbook on an alt before assuming either way.

Do I keep the achievement if I stop playing that character?

Yes. Achievements and mounts are permanently attached to the account, so deleting, transferring, or abandoning the character that earned it changes nothing. Only the rating itself disappears at season reset — every character starts the next season back at zero.
