Every original Classic dungeon returns in WoW: Forever, and Blizzard adds nine new ones: Hall of Thanes, Ruins of Lordaeron, City of Dalaran, Excavation Site: Wetlands, The Drowned City, Blackmaw Hold, Krol'dok Stronghold, Alcaz Prison and The Shaper's Terrace. The three Spelunker achievements Wowhead photographed at BlizzCon 2026 confirm the full roster from Ragefire Chasm to Dire Maul, live from November 4, 2026.

The complete WoW: Forever dungeon list by Spelunker tier

Blizzard has not published a single official list with level ranges. The closest thing is the three Spelunker achievements seen on the BlizzCon demo build (September 12, 2026), which group every dungeon into three tiers. Treat the tiers as a hint about rough level order, not as official brackets. New dungeons are marked.

Quick facts worth knowing before you plan a leveling route:

  • Total: every Classic dungeon plus nine new ones. Boss lists and loot tables for the new dungeons have not been released.
  • Hall of Thanes sits beneath Ironforge, levels 13–18, Alliance-flavoured but open to Horde.
  • Ruins of Lordaeron is the Horde counterpart, levels 15–20, open to Alliance.
  • City of Dalaran covers a wide 20–35 band.
  • Excavation Site: Wetlands is dug in above Whelgar's Excavation; The Drowned City is a troll ruin off the coast of Stranglethorn Vale; Blackmaw Hold is a furbolg city.
  • Alcaz Prison, The Shaper's Terrace and Krol'dok Stronghold are Blizzard's three high-level dungeons for 40–60.
  • No level scaling and no flying, so dungeon order matters the way it did in 2004.

What level are the nine new WoW: Forever dungeons?

Blizzard confirmed ranges for four of them: Hall of Thanes 13–18, Ruins of Lordaeron 15–20, City of Dalaran 20–35, and Alcaz Prison, The Shaper's Terrace and Krol'dok Stronghold as the 40–60 group. Ranges for Excavation Site: Wetlands, The Drowned City and Blackmaw Hold are not published; their achievement tier suggests early, mid and late leveling respectively.

One oddity: Krol'dok Stronghold appears in the Experienced tier alongside Gnomeregan and Scarlet Monastery, even though Blizzard's panel called it a 40–60 dungeon. Either the achievement grouping is loose or the dungeon spans a wide band. Until Blizzard clarifies, expect it somewhere in the 40s.

What is Rath'mael in WoW: Forever?

Rath'mael is listed on the Novice Spelunker achievement between Hall of Thanes and Wailing Caverns, and that is everything anyone can confirm. Blizzard did not name it among the nine new dungeons or describe it at the panel. It may be a renamed instance, a wing, or a tenth dungeon that was not spotlighted. Do not trust guides that claim to know its bosses yet.

What is the Spelunker achievement in WoW: Forever?

Spelunker is a three-step achievement chain (Novice, Experienced, Master) for completing dungeons, seen on the BlizzCon demo. It almost certainly feeds the Legacy system, where Legacy Challenges in categories like Completing Dungeons and Raids award points spent on account-wide perks such as Well Rested (+4% rested XP per rank) and Reinforce (−6% durability loss per rank). Exact requirements and point values are still unknown.

Does WoW: Forever have raids at launch?

No dungeon-style raid content opens on day one. Per Blizzard's roadmap, raids unlock December 9, 2026: Barrow Deeps (10-player, three entrances, one in Mount Hyjal), Hyjal Summit (20-player) and 40-player Onyxia's Lair. Whether Molten Core or Blackwing Lair exist at launch has not been stated, so plan your November around dungeons and pre-raid gearing.

If you would rather skip the LFG grind, PewPewShop's vetted human players (no bots, no cheats, long zero-ban record) run Forever dungeons with you as pre-orders until November 4: any Forever dungeon from EUR 12, Hall of Thanes or Ruins of Lordaeron from EUR 12, City of Dalaran from EUR 16, and Alcaz Prison, Shaper's Terrace or Krol'dok Stronghold from EUR 22, with full pre-raid gearing from EUR 59.
