A materials farm per hour in WoW: Forever means you book one hour of a vetted gatherer's time and the haul of herbs, ore, leather or cloth is yours — at PewPewShop it starts from EUR 9 per hour. Forever is not live until November 4, 2026, so no verified per-hour yields exist yet; output depends on route, competition and gathering skill.
Quick facts: hourly materials farming in Forever
| Service | Price | What you get |
| Forever Materials Farm (per hour) | from EUR 9 | One booked hour of gathering; herbs, ore, leather or cloth of your choice |
| Forever Gathering Pair 1–300 (Herbalism + Mining) | from EUR 79 | Both gathering skills taken to 300 so you can farm yourself afterwards |
| Forever Profession Leveling 1–300 | from EUR 29 | A single profession maxed, gathering or crafting |
| MATERIALS | from EUR 1 | Buying a specific stack outright instead of paying for time |
- Level cap is 60 for good, so the material pool is the classic one plus whatever the new zones (Riverglades, Mount Hyjal, Shen'dralar region) add. Blizzard confirmed 600+ new recipes, which means more demand for the same herbs and ores.
- No flying mounts. Every farming route is a ground-mount loop, which is the main reason per-hour output is lower than in Modern WoW and why competition on a node matters more.
- Legacy perk Bountiful Harvest gives more materials from mining, herbalism and skinning. A gatherer with points in it out-farms one without.
- Tauren Cultivation now grows bonus herbs without Herbalism — a small but real edge for Tauren farmers.
- Camping adds a Herbalist Incense Candle (+Intellect) at the campfire, so herbs have a use beyond potions and enchants.
How many herbs or ore do you get in one hour?
Nobody can quote a real number yet, and anyone who does before launch is guessing. Forever's zones, node density and respawn timers have not been tested outside the BlizzCon demo, and the beta caps at level 30. What we can say from classic-style gathering: yield swings hard with route choice, time of day, how many other players are on the same loop, and whether the gatherer's skill is high enough to take every node on the path.
That is why the service is sold by the hour, not by the stack. You are paying for a competent player on a good route; the more hours you book, the more the randomness averages out.
Herb farm or ore farm — which is worth more in Forever?
Unknown at launch. Both feed the expanded recipe list, and the market will settle in the first weeks after November 4 as crafters find out which new recipes people actually want. If you cannot decide, the Gathering Pair (Herbalism + Mining to 300, from EUR 79) covers both and leaves you set up to gather whichever one is selling.
Is a farming service worth it versus farming yourself?
Honest trade-off: farming is free but slow, and on a fresh economy every hour you spend on a herb loop is an hour not spent leveling, running the nine new dungeons or gearing for the December 9 raid unlock. At EUR 9 an hour the service makes sense when your playtime is the bottleneck, and makes no sense if you enjoy the loop or have more evenings than money.
Can I book Forever materials farming now?
Yes, as a pre-order. PewPewShop takes Forever orders — materials by the hour, profession leveling, gold from launch day — ahead of November 4 and starts them once the game is live. Gathering skill needs to be leveled before the pricier materials become farmable, which is what the Profession Leveling and Gathering Pair packages are for.
If you would rather spend your Forever hours in Hall of Thanes than on a mining loop, PewPewShop's vetted human players can handle the gathering for you — by the hour from EUR 9, or as a full 1–300 profession push. No bots, no cheats, and a long zero-ban record to back it up.
