Horde characters in WoW: Forever level 1–30 along the original Classic route: Durotar, Mulgore or Tirisfal Glades to 10, the Barrens and Silverpine Forest through the teens, then Stonetalon, Ashenvale, Hillsbrad and Thousand Needles into the 20s. The confirmed new pieces for this bracket are Zephras Isle (Skyborne-only 1–12) and the Horde dungeon Ruins of Lordaeron (15–20). The first all-new leveling zone, the Riverglades, opens at 30.

  • Forever is built by the Classic team on WoW's first year, so the original zones and their level bands are the baseline. Blizzard has not published revised level ranges for those zones; with no level scaling in Forever, the Classic bands are the working assumption until the beta says otherwise.
  • Tauren and Orc racials changed: Cultivation now grows bonus herbs without Herbalism, Axe Specialization now gives critical chance. Neither changes where you level, but both make early questing a little smoother.
  • Beta runs September 17 – October 21, 2026 and is capped at level 30, so this exact bracket is what testers will map first.
  • Launch is November 4, 2026, 3 p.m. Pacific, included with a normal WoW subscription.

Can a Horde player start in Zephras Isle?

Only as a Skyborne. Zephras Isle is the new floating 1–12 starting island for the Skyborne race, and the race is faction-locked: Windshaper Skyborne are Horde, High Order Skyborne are Alliance. Horde Skyborne can roll Warrior, Hunter, Rogue, Druid or Shaman, and Windshapers get Skysight (+10% run speed) on top of the shared Walk on Air glide.

The catch is that the Skyborne race requires the Skyborne Heroic Pack (€29.99 on the EU shop) or higher. An Orc, Troll, Tauren or Forsaken character starts in the classic zone for that race, exactly as before.

Which dungeons fit Horde 1–30?

Ragefire Chasm in Orgrimmar and Wailing Caverns in the Barrens are the traditional Horde openers, and Blizzard's demo achievements list them at the novice tier alongside The Deadmines and Shadowfang Keep. The new Ruins of Lordaeron (15–20) sits under the Undercity and is Horde by design, though Alliance can enter. From 20 the City of Dalaran (20–35) is the next new instance, and the demo lists Blackfathom Deeps, Gnomeregan, Razorfen Kraul and Scarlet Monastery in the same experienced tier.

Boss lists and loot for the new dungeons have not been published, so plan on a tank-and-healer group rather than a specific gear farm for now.

Does the Riverglades matter before level 30?

No. The Riverglades is a new Eastern Kingdoms zone that runs from the mid-30s to mid-40s, with 150+ quests, new reputations and a neutral goblin port. It is the reason many Horde players will push to 30 quickly: everything after that number is content nobody has seen. Until then, Ashenvale and Thousand Needles are the same zones you remember.

What speeds up 1–30 in Forever?

Two account-wide systems. Legacy points, earned from challenges like leveling classes or clearing dungeons, buy perks such as Well Rested (+4% rested XP per rank) and Talented (talent points from level 9 instead of 10). Camping is the other one: players build campsites in the open world with tradeskill buffs that others can join. Exact caps and numbers are not yet published.

If you would rather skip the 1–30 grind and meet Forever at the Riverglades, PewPewShop takes pre-orders until November 4: Forever Leveling 1–30 from EUR 13, or the Skyborne Start on Zephras Isle 1–12 from EUR 15, played by vetted human players with Self-Play available.
