Lordaeron is one of the nine new dungeons in World of Warcraft: Forever, tuned for levels 15–20. It is a Horde-side dungeon, but Alliance characters can enter it too. It arrives with the game's worldwide launch on November 4, 2026, and Blizzard has not yet published its boss list, loot or entrance details.

What level should I be for the Lordaeron dungeon?

Blizzard lists Lordaeron at 15–20, and Forever has no level scaling, so a level 20 will have a noticeably smoother run than a level 15. If your group is on the low end of the bracket, bring a proper tank and healer rather than five damage dealers. If you are at 20 or a bit above, the instance simply gets easier — outleveling content still works the old way here.

For a Horde character, this makes Lordaeron the first real dungeon on the way up. It sits right after the 1–12 stretch (Zephras Isle for Skyborne, the classic starting zones for everyone else) and before the 20–35 Dalaran city-dungeon.

Can Alliance players run Lordaeron?

Yes. Blizzard describes Lordaeron as a Horde dungeon that Alliance can enter, and Hall of Thanes as the mirror case: an Alliance dungeon at 13–18 that Horde can enter. Expect the two to feel like faction-flavored siblings in the same level band. Whether Alliance groups get the same quests inside is not published.

Where is the Lordaeron dungeon entrance?

Blizzard has not released the entrance location. What is certain is the setting: Lordaeron is the ruined human capital in Tirisfal Glades, whose broken throne room and courtyard sit above the Undercity in the original game. Every Forsaken character already walks through those ruins early on, which fits a Horde-leaning 15–20 instance neatly. Treat any pinpointed coordinates you find before launch as unconfirmed.

Is Lordaeron in the WoW: Forever beta?

The beta runs September 17 – October 21, 2026, with play capped at level 30, and it is available through the Skyborne Epic Pack or the Warcraft Forever Collection. The 15–20 bracket fits inside that cap, so Lordaeron is a plausible beta candidate — but Blizzard has not confirmed which of the nine dungeons are in the beta build. If it is there, expect the boss list to surface from testers well before November 4.

What comes after Lordaeron?

The natural next stop is Dalaran (20–35), a city-dungeon, then Excavation Site in the Wetlands and The Drowned City off Stranglethorn Vale. Toward the cap you get Alcaz Island Prison, The Shaper's Terrace and Krol'Dok Stronghold at 40–60, plus Blackmaw Hold, the furbolg city. The first raids — Barrow Deeps, Hyjal Summit and the 40-player Onyxia's Lair — unlock together on December 9, 2026.

If you would rather skip the launch-week queue for a tank, PewPewShop runs Lordaeron with vetted human players as a play-together session: the Lordaeron Dungeon Run (15–20) starts from EUR 12, and a Forever Dungeon Run for any instance also starts from EUR 12. Forever orders are taken as pre-orders until November 4 and scheduled from launch day.
