Warrior is a confirmed playable class in World of Warcraft: Forever, launching November 4, 2026, and it is one of the four classes every Skyborne can roll. Blizzard has said all classes and specializations are being revamped and that talents are moving away from +1–2% filler nodes, but the specific Warrior ability and talent changes have not been published yet. Anyone quoting a Forever Warrior talent tree today is guessing.

Quick facts: Warrior in WoW: Forever

  • Status: confirmed playable class.
  • New race option: Skyborne (both the Horde Windshaper and Alliance High Order variants) can be Warriors.
  • Class revamp: Blizzard says every class and spec is being reworked; talents drop small percentage fillers. Warrior specifics: not published.
  • Level cap: 60, permanently — new content arrives in patches, not expansions.
  • Talent points earlier: a Legacy perk (Talented) lets characters get talent points from level 9, still capped at 51 total.
  • Beta: September 17 – October 21, 2026, capped at level 30 — the first place Warrior changes will be visible.
  • Racial notes relevant to Warriors: Orc Axe Specialization now grants critical chance; Skyborne get Wind Blessed (+1% haste) and Walk on Air (a 10-second downward glide).

What "revamped" actually means for Warrior

The only firm statement from Blizzard is the blanket one: all classes and specializations are revamped, and the talent philosophy shifts away from filler. Paladin is the one class with published detail (a tanking seal, more group healing, a full Retribution suite), which shows the scale Blizzard is aiming for. For Warrior, that leaves the obvious questions open — whether Arms, Fury and Protection keep their Classic shape, whether Fury gets a proper leveling identity, how rage works — and none of it is confirmed. Treat every "Forever Warrior changes" list you see before the beta as speculation.

Should I roll a Skyborne Warrior?

If you want the new race, yes, Warrior is on its list. Skyborne is a faction-locked elven race from Zephras Isle: Windshaper on Horde, High Order on Alliance. Shared racials are Walk on Air, Wind Blessed (+1% haste) and Elemental Insight (+5% damage to Elementals). Windshaper adds Skysight (+10% run speed), which helps a melee class close gaps in the open world; High Order adds Read Ley Line (+100% health and mana regeneration), which for a Warrior is mostly a health-regen perk between pulls. Playing Skyborne requires the Skyborne Heroic Pack (€29.99 on the EU Battle.net shop) or a higher edition, and Skyborne start in a new 1–12 zone, Zephras Isle.

Does Warrior leveling change in Forever?

The class-side changes are unknown, but the world around a leveling Warrior changes a lot. There are nine new dungeons, including Hall of Thanes beneath Ironforge (13–18), Ruins of Lordaeron (15–20), City of Dalaran (20–35), and three high-level ones — Alcaz Prison, Shaper's Terrace and Krol'dok Stronghold. The Riverglades is a new 30–45 zone in the Eastern Kingdoms with 150+ quests. Legacy perks like Well Rested (+4% rested XP per rank) and Talented (talent points from level 9) apply account-wide, so a Warrior alt levels more comfortably after your first character. There is no level scaling and no flying.

What does Warrior endgame look like at launch?

Launch brings Mount Hyjal as an endgame zone and the high-level dungeons above. Raids unlock December 9, 2026: Barrow Deeps (a 10-player maximum-level challenge with three entrances), Hyjal Summit (20-player) and 40-player Onyxia's Lair. Whether Molten Core or Blackwing Lair are open at launch is unknown. Boss lists and loot tables — so, which Warrior weapons drop where — have not been published. PvP returns with the original battlegrounds plus The Darkspear Islands, a 15v15 map with capture points, and the Honor system is changed, though the numbers are not yet public.

Is "Classic Plus Warrior" the same thing?

Yes. "Classic+" is the community nickname for WoW: Forever, the third experience alongside Modern and Classic, built by the Classic team and set in WoW's first year. So a "classic plus warrior" search and a "wow forever warrior" search point at the same class in the same game. It is included with an active subscription or Game Time — no separate game purchase.
