WoW: Forever keeps every original race–class combination and adds three new ones: Forsaken Paladin, Dwarf Shaman, and the new Skyborne elves. Skyborne are not neutral — High Order Skyborne join the Alliance, Windshaper Skyborne join the Horde. All Skyborne can be Warrior, Hunter, Rogue or Druid; Horde Skyborne also unlock Shaman, Alliance Skyborne also unlock Mage.

  • Blizzard has announced only these additions. Any other new pairing (Human Shaman, Troll Druid, Night Elf Mage and so on) is not confirmed and should be treated as unavailable until Blizzard says otherwise.
  • Skyborne Druids get unique sky-blue shapeshift forms.
  • Playing a Skyborne requires the Skyborne Heroic Pack (€29.99 on the EU Battle.net shop) or a higher edition. The race itself is a paid unlock; the Forever game mode is included with a normal subscription.
  • Level cap is 60 permanently. Every class and specialization has been reworked — Paladins, for example, get a tanking seal, stronger group healing and a full Retribution toolkit, which is why a Forsaken Paladin is a real option rather than a novelty.

What classes can Skyborne play?

Four classes are shared across both Skyborne variants: Warrior, Hunter, Rogue and Druid. The fifth depends on faction. Windshaper (Horde) Skyborne can roll a Shaman; High Order (Alliance) Skyborne can roll a Mage. There is no Skyborne Paladin, Priest or Warlock in the announced lineup.

Both variants share three racials: Walk on Air (a ten-second downward glide), Wind Blessed (+1% haste) and Elemental Insight (+5% damage to Elementals). High Order adds Read Ley Line (+100% health and mana regeneration); Windshaper adds Skysight (+10% run speed). The run-speed racial makes Windshaper a natural fit for Rogues and Hunters; the regen racial leans toward Mages and Druids on the Alliance side.

Is Forsaken Paladin actually in WoW: Forever?

Yes. Forsaken Paladin is one of the two headline new combos, alongside Dwarf Shaman. Both start at level 1 like any other character and level through the same 1–60 path, including the new Riverglades zone at 30–45. Blizzard has not published lore justification or unique starting quests for either combo, so treat anything beyond "the combo exists" as unconfirmed.

Did other racials change?

A few. Tauren Cultivation now grows bonus herbs without needing Herbalism. Orc Axe Specialization grants critical strike chance instead of weapon skill. Gnome Expansive Mind now raises maximum resource rather than intellect, and Gnomes gain a new racial, Eureka!, which makes the next three spells cheaper and 10% stronger. No changes to Human, Night Elf, Troll or Forsaken racials have been announced yet.

Does "Classic Plus race class" mean the same thing as Forever?

In practice, yes. "Classic+" is the community nickname; World of Warcraft: Forever is the official name for the third WoW experience next to Modern and Classic. It launches November 4, 2026 at 3 p.m. Pacific, with a beta running September 17 – October 21 (capped at level 30) and early name reservation October 27 – November 3. Any "Classic Plus race class list" you find is describing this same set of combinations.

If you would rather have a vetted human player handle the grind on one of the new combos, PewPewShop offers Forever pre-orders until launch day: Forsaken Paladin Leveling 1–60 from EUR 25, Dwarf Shaman Leveling 1–60 from EUR 25, and Skyborne Start: Zephras Isle 1–12 from EUR 15, all done by real players with no bots or cheats.
